You're expanding your business or just trying to get more bang for your advertising buck by running a musical message? When dealing with the horrendous uncertainties of these times, a lively business jingle might be an unbeatable corridor to take in the process of trying to transmit your service's message to a greater number of people and to get your product some respect.
What follows are several bullet points -- in no order of importance.
* It's all about the memories: be thinking about starting your new protocol with the full lyric version of your jingle and then use a different edit from your package once your fully-sung jingle has been in the marketplace long enough for it to make it memorable.
* a commercial music producer that offers a complimentary demo service, so that there is no problem if you don't like it. It's a good feeling if there is no obligation if the produced musical message clashes with what was claimed.
* It's not always enough to prompt that your new ad jingle be "today." Tell your producer where you will be airing your commercial. It's a good idea to figure out: will your Bluegrass style jingle work effectively if used on a AOR format? While it might, you should contemplate your music style choice with the attention it deserves. Is it a good choice for the age group you are wanting to attract?
* Trust your gut - if you like your new song, it's a positive clue that others will probably respond to it in the same positive way. Asking for several other people's input can be annoying and actually unhelpful.
* Be careful when dealing with producers that want you to pay renewal fees. A favored jingle will have a very long life, so always work with a jingle creator that gives you a choice of full buyouts, or lifetime licensing contracts.
* Ask your jingle specialist if they have an international license option in the beginning, so that when you move to grow your business, the jingle will be legal to use in the other markets where you desire to go.
* It is at the point now that a kid with some software can start a business as a "professional," so be diligent! Ask the length of time they have been specializing in advertising music. What is their standing in the community? Can they pony up many past customer recommendations? Are their fees easily accessible and posted online? Are they in with the Better Business Bureau?
* Is there a tagline available? Is it a good lyric choice? The slogan "Maude's Dive Shop has a pool of representatives schooled to meet whatever needs fixing, and they're ready to serve you whenever you need them!" while descriptive, is not exactly an appropriate jingle lyric. If you require one, it won't hurt to ask your ad music production company to devise a lyrical catchphrase for you.
* It's a good idea to have your trade name in the jingle plenty of times
Finally, these bullet points will no doubt take you a long way in your search for the ideal ad music for your business. A catchy musical message is an expenditure that can pay cash for decades. Lots of people can think of a musical message from when they were young. What are you waiting for?
Thanks for listening.
